Thor Figurine

Futhark.org exclusive item.

These small figurines are made in-house by members of the Irminfolk Odinist Community from resin that is finished in a faux gold tone.

The Eyrarland Statue is a bronze statue of a seated figure from about AD 1000 that was recovered at the Eyrarland farm in the area of Akureyri, Iceland.

Original Norse sources such as the Hallfreðar saga  attest to the use of small statuettes such as these for personal devotional purposes. In addition, Adam of Bremen described the worship of three distinct statues at the temple of Uppsala. In his in Gesta Hammaburgensis ecclesiae pontificum, he describes statues of Odin, Thor and Freyr being the center of worship in the Temple.

Futhark is proud to offer these resin figurines for your Altar or Hoarg. May they bring your home the favor of the Thunderer.
